Lawlors Hotel Launch The First Santa's Givers Sundays

Due to the huge success of last Sundays Santa’s Givers Sunday, Lawlors Hotel, Dungarvan, Waterford and locals from the surrounding area’s have one last chance to provide families with the perfect opportunity for their children to meet Santa and have their photo taken, while also helping to make Christmas magical for less fortunate children and families living in west Waterford this Sunday December 13^th.

“Many families will find this Christmas a particularly difficult one” said Karen Moore, Lawlors Hotel. “Unfortunately some children will not be lucky enough to have Santa visit their homes. Through Santa’s Giving Sundays, we are working with Barnardos, Ireland’s leading children’s charity, to enable people living in the west Waterford area to get their Christmas off to a more meaningful start by giving them the opportunity to donate gifts for another child or family. Families can donate new or unwanted (but in good condition) books, toys, gifts and presents.”

Families can book to attend Santa’s Giving Sunday Lunch this Sunday 13^th of December and choose from a four course menu including a spectacular choice of starter, main and dessert €18.95 per adult and €8 per child. A limited number of tables are available for sittings from 12 -1pm and 2 – 3pm. Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis.

Barnardos has projects in Dungarvan and in Ballybeg in Waterford city providing services for children and families. Barnardos works with over 5,500 children each year.
